133875_498198527148_2671553_oPam Lyle has held the role of Chief Financial Officer for The Rose which offers Breast Health services for both the insured and the uninsured in Houston, Texas, and 25 surrounding counties since 1995. In her capacity as CFO, she is responsible for all financial activities and information systems of the organization, risk management and facility management, overseeing an $11 million operating budget. Prior to The Rose, Pam held financial roles at the Center for Excellence – The Woman’s Hospital of Texas and Medical Center Hospital; St. Mary’s Hospital, Galveston; and Bayshore Medical Center, Pasadena. The native Houstonian graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake with her BS Accounting and has her MBA from University of Houston Bauer College of Business. She has served as a mentor with the Wolff Center for Entrepreneurship at UH Bauer College. She is a member of ICF Houston Coaches Association and Society of Human Resources. She has served on various HR Houston committees, most recently the University Liaison committee. She is the past President of the Texas Medical Center/ Women’s Health Network She is the current President of Brigid’s Place and has served as Treasurer. She is a member of Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council.
martha-francesThe Rev. Martha Frances is a retired Episcopal priest in the Diocese of Texas, a mother of 2 boys, step-mother of 2 boys, & have 6 grandchildren in all, 3 of whom live here in Houston.  In previous lives she has taught English, language arts, composition, & English as a Second Language in grades 8 through college.  Her present other passion is developing a chapter of Rivendell, an Episcopal religious community, in the Diocese of Texas.  A life-long feminist, she is pleased to have reared 2 feminist boys, one of whom lives in Munich, Germany.  She has worked extensively with underserved populations and continues to have interest in people on the margins of society, multiculturalism, and ecumenical & interfaith relations.  In addition, Martha loves music, reading, knitting, and travel.
Bbetty-adamsetty Conrad Adam, a native Houstonian, has served at the Cathedral since 1992, currently as Resident Canon Theologian and Spiritual Director of Brigid’s Place. Canon Adam is a graduate of the University of Texas in Austin. She holds an M.A. in English literature from the University of California at Berkeley and an M.A. and PhD in philosophy from Rice University. Formerly assistant professor in the philosophy department at the University of St. Thomas and lay chaplain at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, she was ordained priest in 1991 after completing her Masters of Divinity at the Houston Graduate School of Theology and receiving a Certificate of Individual Theological Studies from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest. In 1995, she was a recipient of a Merrill Fellowship and attended the Harvard Divinity School in Cambridge, MA. Canon Adam is married to William Kendall Adam. They have two grown sons, Mark and Michael.
mary-mckMary McKerall was born in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated from Nicholls State College with a B.A. in 1966 and from University of Texas School of Law J.D. 1969. She has been the Senior Assistant City Attorney, City of Houston from 2003 to today. Mary is married to Richard P. Steele and has two children, Jane Steele and Byron Steele. She is a founding member of River Oaks Business Women’s Exchange Club “ROBWEC” (1976) and the Association of Women Attorneys (1976). She is also a Life Fellow of the Houston Bar Foundation (1982).

Mary also served in the first group of attorneys Board Certified in Commercial and Residential Real Estate by the State Bar of Texas Board of Legal Specialization (1983). Additionally she was the Chairman of the Board of Directors Harris County Federal Credit Union (1989 to 1995) and the Harris County Attorney’s office (1974-2003). Mary was also active in the organization and legal representation of the Harris County Guardianship Program (1991 to 2001). She is a an active member of the of Live Oak Friends Meeting Houston community and served as their clerk (2006-2008).  An organizer of the Mary Magdalene Worship Community (2005). She has served on Brigid’s Place Board of Directors since 2006. Mary is an active member of our community and in Houston!

victoriaVictoria Cawley grew up in Somerset, England, coming to the U.S. in 1975 and to Houston in 1980. She came to the Cathedral in 1986, and joined as a member in 1989 after marrying her late husband, Scott. She has served on the Membership & Evangelism and Pastoral Care councils. Victoria joined the Altar Guild in 1995 and served as director in 2002 and 2010. Member of the Vestry since 2014, responsible for the reception committee events following Evensong at the Cathedral. Victoria is a registered nurse at Memorial Hermann Health System. She Has 2 cats and loves to travel!
