This workshop is a rare opportunity to experience Holotropic Breathwork with its co-originator and teacher Stanislav Grof, M.D.

The workshop will be highly experiential. Through breathing, evocative music and focused release work, non-ordinary states of consciousness are induced, allowing access to the healing potential of the psyche.

Mandala drawing and group processing of the experiences are additional important elements used in the holotropic process. Special emphasis is placed on integration of the breathwork experience in a supportive atmosphere.

Discussions during the weekend will involve a range of topics, including perinatal experiences, spiritual emergency, and the birth/death/rebirth model of transformation.

Friday night’s lecture, The Healing Potential of Non-Ordinary States of Consciousness is an introduction to the theoretical understanding that serves as a conceptual framework for the Holotropic method. This lecture may also be attended by those not participating in the workshop for $15, paid at the door. The lecture will begin at 6:30. it is not necessary to pre-register if you only wish to attend the lecture.

The lecture and workshop are held at the Renaissance hotel, which is centrally located in the Greenway Plaza complex, off the Southwest Freeway (59 South), and close to restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Special room rate for our group is $109 per night, single or double, until Friday, May 16, and later if available.
