Centering Prayer is a modern restatement of Christian silent prayer and meditation practice that traces its origin to the early monastics. The intention of this mode of prayer is an openness to the presence and action of God within.

We begin with a brief reading from Nan Merrill’s Psalms For Praying, sit for 25 minutes of silent prayer, and conclude with a  brief time of sharing.

For additional information, call Pam Stockton at 713-529-5036 or e-mail her at pammyjd@aol.com.

Co-facilitators: Pamela Stockton and Carole Pentony.
