Cost: $45
What’s your number? Your Enneagram number or type represents your characteristic way of looking at the world, yourself, and others. With roots in the Sufi tradition, the Enneagram is enjoying a resurgence of interest in many settings. From Motorola and the CIA to spiritual formation and leadership studies at Georgetown and Stanford, people are discovering the practical wisdom of this ancient tool.
Knowledge of the Enneagram helps us understand the motivation behind behavior—our own and that of others—helping us to be responsive rather than reactive with others. Although we will each have a primary number or type, we all have access to all nine types. In this introductory course, we will explore the nine types, points of integration and disintegration for each, and the centers of intelligence. Previous experience with the Enneagram is helpful but not required. Participants are encouraged to take one of many available online Enneagram tests as a way to begin thinking about type.
The word Enneagram comes from the Greek word “ennea” meaning nine and representing the nine personality types.
