Brigid's Paradigm/Living Paradigm

A Low-Income Housing Initiative

Brigid’s Paradigm was founded under the mentorship of Brigid's Place as a model for families building their own houses with free, salvaged and recycled building materials, with the paid guidance of a seasoned builder.

Now in the process of applying for its own 501(c)(3) Non-Profit status, it has formed 'Living Paradigm Community Development Corporation.' Under the leadership of its founding Board Members, Living Paradigm is now eligible for grants and projects that it was not able to apply for in the past.

The mentor can develop plans, prepare documents for obtaining permits, help with materials acquisition and tutoring, allowing the family to do the physical work of building the house. Brigid's Paradigm works in collaboration with the Phoenix Commotion, a low-income housing initiative by homebuilder Dan Phillips.
